The Louisiana Film Museum is a special place where people can visit and learn more about the history of movies that have been produced in Louisiana. Over 600 films and TV shows have been produced in LA since 1898, with another 180 films in production through 2011.
There is an impressive list of major motion picture and television stars that have played their role in contributing to Louisiana?s film industry. The Louisiana Film Museum features on permanent display a time-line of each of the major films produced in Louisiana, along with video clips, still photographs and cinema posters of the majority of these films.
