DESCRIPTION
Right in the CBD and very close to the Quarter, the Loews Hotel is home to “Cafe Adelaide & the Swizzle Stick Bar.” The celebrated Commander's Palace Family of Restaurants proves once again their recipe for "creating dining memories" to be successful with the opening of Café Adelaide and The Swizzle Stick Bar, their first restaurant in New Orleans in 12 years. The newest member of the Family is shaking up the New Orleans scene, dishing up a playful take on Creole cuisine with a side order of Big Easy bacchanalia served by the gracious hands of the new generation of the infamous Brennan clan.
Located in the Loews New Orleans Hotel, adjacent to the Arts District, Café Adelaide and The Swizzle Stick Bar is inspired by the Brennans' beloved Aunt Adelaide, who personified the avant-garde cocktail culture of the late 1950s and 1960s, and represents the joie de vivre of all that is New Orleans. Everything about Café Adelaide and The Swizzle Stick Bar is centered around her charming pursuit of the good life-from high-falutin' to low-down…with great New Orleans food.
